March 29th and 30th

Steelhead fishing has been good, The River has been1600 CFS dropping it to 1100 CFS. We had 2 boats out both days with each boat had between 10 and 12 Steelhead each day. All these fish came on floats with eggsacks and trout beads.

March 31st and April 1st

Fishing was good today. Water level was 1100CFS then dropped to 500CFS on Thursday had a decent 2 days considering water dropped on Wednesday Boat 8 Steelhead with one good one between 12-14lbs. Thursday was tougher due to lower water with only a couple caught out of 4 or 5 on.

April 6th

Had a decent day with half a dozen fish on boating 3 or 4 Steelhead caught on plugs and some floatfishing.

April 7th

Had 2 boats out today with some success both boats caught Steelhead both on plugs and floats with trout beads, fishing has gotten tougher due to the river dropping to 285CFS.

April 9th

Had a fair day for Sleelhead considering low water a miserable cold and windy conditions. We had caught between 4 and 6 Steelhead with plugs and floats.

April 10th

Had 2 boats out today,water still at 285CFS. Both boats had plugged all day with some success, we 20 to 30 mile per hour winds which made it tough but we both managed to have 6 to 8 a piece and landing a couple each.

April 11th

Had a good morning even with low water had a half a dozen on before nine in the a.m. landing 3 on floats then the bite got slow as the sun came up, we managed to have a couple more on later that day.

April 15th

On the Lake for Browns on an afternoon tripwe boated 5 Browns,2 Lake Trout,2 Atlantic Salmon and lost 4 or 5 others using northport nailer spoons.

April 16th

On the Lake again for Browns,had a good morning boating 14 fish 10 Browns,4 Lake Trout all on spoons in 5 to 10 feet of water off Lakeview and Stony Creek.

April17th

Tough day on the water only boated 2 Steelhead. Still 285CFS.

April18th

Slow day for Steelhead boating 2 out of 4 Steelhead with one nice12 pounder. Low water a weekend crowd don't help. All caught on floats with egg sacks.

April19th

Had a little better day with landing 4 out of 6 Steelhead still not as good as it should be but at 285CFS it is what it is. They just started releasing drop backs, should get better.

April 20th

Slow day on the River only caught 2 on floats slow for everybody.

April 21st

Had a better day today, Got lucky found a few fish landed 8 Steelhead all on floats with beads.

April 23rd

Had a fantastic day on the Lake, Today boating 16 Browns and 2 Atlantic Salmon off of Stony Creek using spoons in 5 to 10 feet of water.

April 26th

Last day on the River till the fall. Steelhead fishing was good today boating 7 or 8. River still flowing at 285CFS I won't miss banging the rocks that's for sure.

May 1st

Opening Day of Walleye, due to heavy boat traffic fishing wasn't bad. We boated 7 Pike and 3 Walleyes, some boats did better than others. conditions were flat,calm, and sunny not the best for Walleyes.

May 3rd

Walleye fishing much better today,less boats and overcast,rainy perfect conditions. Boating  7 Walleyes, 1 Brown and 1 Pike.

May 7th

Great day for the Walleyes,very little boat pressure and windy. We ended up boating 15 Walleyes with 10 1/4 pounder our best.

May 10th

Tougher day today on Walleyes after hard blowon the weekend with winds gusting up to 50 mph, we boated 4 Walleyes 1 Pike and lost 2 or 3 others.

May 13th

1st day of the Henderson Harbor Classic, we fished for northern pike all day using Northport Nailers Spoons in 18ft of water. We ended up boating 8 northern pike with one 12 1/2 lb. pike, putting us in 2nd place for the first day of the derby

May 14th

Walleye fishing was tough today, Boat traffic was pretty heavy. We fished Black River Bay and Chaumont Bay, we ended up with 2 walleyes with one 9 1/2 lb. and three northern pike.

May 15th

Walleye fishing was a little better today. Due to rougher seas and less boats, using spoons and stickbaits over 40ft of water. We ended up boating, 3 walleyes and 7 northern pike.

May 16th

Walleye fishing was around the same today. We ended up boating 3 out of 4 walleyes, all around 9lbs. Our walleyes stopped biting so we switched over to Northern Pike. We boated 9 more to finish the day.

May 17th

Great day for walleyes today with the weekend boat traffic gone, allowing us to nab 8 walleyes up to 11lbs. We caught these in about 35ft of water

May 18th

Fishing was slow today, which was and effect of the heavy feeding on the baitfish known as alwives. Today we got 1 walleye and 13 pike

May 19th

Walleyes were cooperating a little better today with 5 walleyes and 2 nice brown in on the mix. The walleyes ranged from 5-8lbs. while th browns were 7-8lbs.

May 21st

Today we did pretty decent, 2 walleyes and 3 northern pike. We fished for the walleyes in the morning and caught them in about 45ft of water with deep diving rapalas. The pike were caught in the afternoon in 10-20ft of water using spoons.

May 22nd

Fishing was very slow today, conditions were not ideal, bright skys, no wind, and heavy boat traffic. We ended up getting 2 walleyes and to northern pike and a whitefish as a bonus.

May 23rd

Fishing was a little better today, walleyes were still slow, boating 2 walleyes and 6 northern pike. We used stickbaits on the walleyes and spoons for the pike.

May 24th

Walleyes were better today with no boat traffic. We got 4 walleyes with one 10lbs and another 11lbs we also got 2 brown trout, one about 12 1/2lbs
